I love me a good ‘Taking Stock‘ kinda post. I first happened on the concept when Sash at ‘Inked In Colour‘ published one. I think she’d happened on the idea from Pip at ‘Meet Me At Mike’s‘ and I was keen to jump on that bandwagon and ride it into the sunset.
I stumbled back onto the whole idea yesterday when checking out the ‘Veggie Mama‘ blog and realising that the gorgeous Stacey had published a ‘Happenings‘ post that reflected all that is awesome about having the chance to have a little think about what’s been going on around and about the place.
I don’t know about you but I often find that it’s only when I sit down and physically write or type the stuff that’s been happening in our life that I actually fully realise just how much has been going. It’s so easy to miss the small stuff (so easy in fact that I wrote a whole post about it HERE) as well as the bigger things in the whirlwind that seems to sweep through most weeks. Having little ‘snapshots’ of what’s going on right now is a great way of remaining in the present. I’ve also loved skipping back to check out the last ‘Taking Stock’ post I wrote (check it out HERE) to see where we were then and what’s changed (and what’s stayed the same), 5 and a bit months on.
Here’s the round up…
